About Genussmeile Thermenregion
6–7 September 2025 and 13–14 September 2025 the “longest bar in the world” returns to the Thermenregion Wienerwald along the 1. Wiener Wasserleitungswanderweg between Mödling, Gumpoldskirchen, Pfaffstätten, Baden, and Bad Vöslau. Expect an easy vineyard walk with stations pouring regional DAC wines, seasonal food, live music, and family-friendly activities. Genussmeile Thermeregion (Eng. “Gourmet mile in Thermeregion”) might be the most exciting wine festival in Austria.
Also known as: Genussmeile Thermenregion Wienerwald; Wiener Wasserleitungsweg Genussmeile.
What to expect
Genussmeile is a relaxed vineyard walk linking dozens of pop-up stands: estate wineries pouring Thermenregion DAC varieties (notably Rotgipfler and Zierfandler), frizzante, most/sturm, plus regional snacks from classic Heurigen fare to vegan options. Live music sets the tone across multiple nodes, and kids find activities from giant soap bubbles to bouncy castles.

Genussmeile distills the Thermenregion in one gentle walk: distinctive DAC whites (Rotgipfler, Zierfandler), autumn flavors, and sociable vineyard lanes. Pace yourself, sample broadly, and use the shuttles to stitch together your perfect route. See the official site for live updates and full maps.
